While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I encountered behind its threshold was appalling and beyond comprehension .

The floorboards were filthy, and a overpowering stench of old alcohol and dirty bathrooms suffused the entire establishment . Reeking of a mixture of ammonia , decay and sour vomit . The main bar, which should be the primary feature of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and trash that looked like it hadn’t been touched in ages .
